Being one of the most remote places in the World, we have to rely on our supply ship Silver Supporter which brings our supplies 4 times from NZ.
Mail out from Pitcairn is 4 times a year. Our post Office processes our parcels, and it is bagged and put into a shipping container. Taken by tractor to Bounty Bay. Loaded on a longboat and taken out to Silver Supporter where the shipping containers are loaded on the ship and secured. The ship takes 2 weeks by sea to Tauranga NZ. NZ customs then take our shipment and checked each one. Then it is delivered through Shuttle group LTD to NZ Post in Auckland. When they finally ship it by post to you, each parcel has a tracking number which NZ post will activate. Once this is activated, I will let you know so you can track your parcel. It takes up to 2 months after leaving Pitcairn sometimes for our mail to get through the system. Thank you.
